Asheville local, Hannah Kaminer recently released her new LP, "Heavy Magnolias". It was fantastic having her and her team of musicians here at Echo Mountain. We couldn't be happier with how this record turned out. Make sure to have a listen (or a few). You can download the full LP on her website.

Have you seen our new mural?

If you’ve driven west down Patton Ave recently, you’ve probably noticed our new mural. This tribute to the late, great Chris Cornell was painted by local mural artists, Brushcan. You may recognize the image from the cover of Soundgarden’s 1989 album, “Louder Than Love”.

Manchester Orchestra have released their newest LP, "A Black Mile to the Surface" which they recorded right here in Asheville at Echo Mountain Recording. It was a pleasure having these guys and producer/engineer, Catherine Marks in the studio. They all worked tirelessly on this record (including our very own Clay Miller), but the long hours paid off. Pitchfork calls "A Black Mile to the Surface" Manchester Orchestra's "most confounding and thrilling work yet". Find out for yourself. Listen below and pickup your copy here.

Jon Stickley Trio's "Maybe Believe"

Jon Stickley Trio's "Maybe Believe"

Jon Stickley Trio recently released their new LP, "Maybe Believe". This album was a blast to record, with Echo Mountain's own Julian Dryer engineering and The Bad Plus' Dave King holding the reins. Check it out below!

The latest record from the Jon Stickley Trio flexes new and strong muscles, utilizing more progressive structures and deeper pockets than ever before. All the while, the group retains its place as a modern-thinking acoustic ensemble with one foot in tradition and the other in a bluegrass-honoring future that allows for the avant garde, punk, and be-bop to mix in freely and tastefully.
