Julian Dreyer

Chief Engineer/Producer

Julian grew up in the mountains of Western North Carolina in the small artist community of Celo. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Music Technology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, he spent 4 years as a live sound engineer at The Orange Peel in Asheville working with numerous national touring acts and large productions.  

Julian has spent the last 10 years at Echo Mountain Recording as a producer/engineer and the last 5 years as the chief engineer.  


Clay Miller


Clay Miller attended Western Carolina University where he earned his BA in Music with a concentration on recording and bass guitar.  After college Clay interned at Echo Mountain where many opportunities and mentors lead him to his current position of house Engineer.  Over the past four years he has worked with many critically acclaimed bands and producers.


Jim Georgeson


With engineering roots in Asheville and Chicago, Jim graduated from Appalachian State University's Hayes School of Music with a BS in Music Industry Studies, concentrating on classical guitar, recording and production.  Jim came to Echo Mountain as an intern in 2010 with plans to move to Chicago, where he was able to work in live sound production and intern at the legendary Chicago Recording Company.  After two years of the windy city, he returned to Echo Mountain excited to build his recording career.  An inherently enthusiastic person, Jim creates a truly  exceptional recording experience for many notable artists and producers. 


Kenny Harrington

Assistant Engineer

Kenny earned his BA in Audio Production from the Art Institute of Washington.  He began his internship at Echo Mountain in 2013, shortly after relocating to Asheville from the DC area, and has since moved to the position of Assistant Engineer.  He has assisted on numerous sessions and continues to grow his career as an engineer.  In addition to engineering, Kenny also manages the internship program at the studio.
