Polvo
Polvo could be considered the quintessential indie rock guitar band of the nineties with their unmistakable electric sound. Based in North Carolina the band formed in 1989 and now consists of Ash Bowie (guitar/vocals), Dave Brylawski (guitar/vocals), Steve Popson (bass) and Brian Quast (drums). The band came to Echo Mountain to record their greatly anticipated first album in 12 years using producer Brian Paulson (Wilco, Slint, Beck).

Day of Fire
Day of Fire’s first album, Day Of Fire, recorded in 2004 was an ambitious musical vision built to fit the power of the message. Day of Fire became an unforgettable, Grammy-nominated, Dove Award winning debut. In the ensuing time since the debut album’s release, the ambition of the band evolved. With a new resolve, Brown, guitarist Joe Pangallo, his brother Chris Pangallo on bass, and drummer Zach Simms, set out to create an even more aggressive rock sound with a positive message. Since their first release Day of Fire has become an internationally recognizable band, playing sold out shows with American Idol star, Chris Daughtry. Now in 2009 Day of Fire has come with producer Rogers Mason to record their next album.
